The neonatology department at Omni Giggles was established to provide holistic care for newborns. High quality neonatal care is available at Omni Giggles from 24 weeks of gestation for preterm infants or full-time infants in need of critical care or surgery.

A dedicated team of neonatologists and nurses trained in neonatal intensive care provides 24-hour surveillance and care.

The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) has world-class giraffe incubators, Radiant Warmers, Billisoft, Invasive and Non-Invasive monitors, laminar flow, HFO, nitric oxide therapy, therapeutic hypothermia and brain function monitoring, including photo monitoring.

The unit is operated by a team of neonatologists with extensive knowledge, skills and experience to quickly assess and treat the condition of infants so that neonates can achieve the best results. The use of advanced technology supports quick recovery. The unit is staffed by highly trained, skilled and experienced nurses.

Our NICU facilitates clinical nutrition, including Total Parental Nutrition (TPN) for neonates in chronic intravenous fluids.

We follow a unique and structured follow-up program for all children treated in the high-risk unit and discharged from the unit, including neurodevelopment, hearing assessment, ROP and visual assessment, growth monitoring, vaccinations, etc. The follow-up team includes neonatologists, pediatricians, pediatric cardiologists, ophthalmologists, orthopedic surgeons, physiotherapists, plastic surgeons, endocrinologists, neurologists, neurologists, and neurologists.
